for the record, my phone is pixel 4a with the latest android OS and both my laptop and PC are running the latest version of Windows 10. but if that is the magic bullet i need to get my SC to work with parsec, than I am willing to put in the effort to learn how to make it work.Īny help from the community that you might be able to provide for this situation would be appreciated. however, if steam link just lets me access my PC over the internet now (and I just have no clue how to enable that functionality) then I can remove parsec altogether.įor the record, I do not have GloSC as I do not know enough about it to feel comfortable trying to get it to work on my PC and laptop, let alone my phone. furthermore, Parsec on my laptop seems to have the same problem of putting my SC into lizard mode, and I cannot figure out how to get it to just read SC as anything else.

I've seen things online that suggest that you can run parsec through steam, but that's only from PC to PC (as near as i can tell), and I have never gotten that functionality to work properly for any game anyway. If you are unable to stream gameplay from both inside AND outside your local network, you likely have multiple issues and will need to troubleshoot further. but while I can connect to my host computer using parsec, it isn't registering my steam controller (SC) directly to the host computer, which puts SC into "super lizard mode". So, long story short, if you're able to use the Steam Link app within your home network without any problems, simply opening ports 7 and 9 is all you need to do. does the steam link app on my phone allow me to connect to steam on my computer over the internet? It used to be that it won't, so I've been trying to get Parsec to let me play steam games over the internet. I haven't seen anything that says yes or no, now that the new remote play feature is added.
